MYE

Mye is a staple for authentic Japanese cuisine and renown for serving the GTA for over 30 years

In October 1987, Executive Chef Motoaki Aoki opened Oakville's first Japanese restaurant after having received an invitation from then-mayor Harry Barrett. Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Aoki brought with him his passion for both sophisticated and homegrown flavours. Today, Mye 2 (Uptown Oakville) is praised for serving among the freshest and most appetizing cuisine to be found across Canada.

Aoki's deep appreciation for the local community is exemplified not only through providing excellent food, but also through their ongoing philanthropic efforts, such as their yearly Feast for Good Charity events, which aim to raise funds that go directly to the New Oakville Hospital.
